Remembering those who died! Arizona Memorial

It was 7:35 am Dec. 7 , 1941.  American service men were at rest in port at Pearl Harbor when the sky filled with Japanese planes.  The attack did not last long but devastated the American fleet killing 2,335 military personnel and 68 civilians.

A memorial was built over the USS Arizona in honor of all the men that died that day and whose bodies were never recovered.   We honor those who died, those who fought so bravely and those who answered the call to war that day!

Take a moment today to remember, and pray for our service men and women and their families.  Gob bless them with strength, peace and safety.  Amen

My parents always talked about Pearl Harbour and what happened during the war. I think it is great that you have taken a moment to remind us all of that day. Thanks for your thoughtful entry.
Thanks too for commenting on my freshly pressed post! I appreciated it!
